Silent Auction Rules

 

Bidder Registration Rules

1. Bidder is responsible for assuring that BMC has current contact information (name and

    phone number).

2. Bidder has read the rules related to this silent auction.

 

Auction Item Rules

 

1. Only one item is available for this silent auction.  The item is a TREK Checkpoint SL5 gravel bike, valued at $2,800.00 (size 54).

2. All sales are final, there are no exchanges. 

3. No refunds after purchase.  Winning bidder is responsible for item after it is claimed.

 

Bidding Process Rules

 

1. The auction will be in effect for one day only, October 6, 2024.  The auction will be open from 9:00am until 4:00pm.

2. The final bid will be accepted no later than 4:00pm.  The winning bidder will be announced  shortly after 4:00pm..

3. The minimum bid must be $1,100.

4. Bid increases must be in $25 increments.

5. Once a bid has been placed it may not be withdrawn or altered.

 

Legal Restriction Rules

 

1. All bidders must be at least 18 years of age.

2. Each bidder assumes all risks and hazards associated with the item purchased.

 

Checkout Procedure

 

1. Winner must make arrangements to pick up item by the close of the Love Biketoberfest event on October 6, 2024.

2. Winner must make payment to BMC prior to the time of pick up.

3. If item is left unclaimed, it will become the property of BMC and may be resold.
